Mr. Guo is responsible for finance & accounting of all Culverhouse centers, faculty research and service accounts. Will advise Associate Dean for Economic Development Outreach and center directors in all funding matters. Management of multiple account types for center and faculty projects and services (state funds, contracts and grants, cost share, service, gift funds and endowments, etc.). Analyze Institute and Center Accounts to determine cash flows and other operating benchmarks. Make necessary adjustments to Center Accounts in Accordance with UA policies/procedures as well as GAAP to ensure continued non-deficit spending within funds. Prepare Journal Entries and Budget Changes as needed to coincide with UA Accounting policies/procedures. Review financial reports to identify and explain variances. Gather financial data as needed to establish projections for future operations. Mr. Guo will also work closely with Culverhouse Accounting Administrator I to ensure appropriateness of information being provided.
